In the story of the Iliad i learn a lot about the gods, heroism, an being true to your heart. i also learn that there is nothing can be compared to the story of Iliad be cause this is one of the most greatest work of the Greek.
I were to make my own version of the Iliad maybe the chapter about hector because if hector died what will happen to Helen? so if may write my story about that chapter i would like to change the part that hector will be able to live and also became one of the greatest men. Hector will be the greatest king and he will be able to live happily ever after with Helen. with this story it can make the war end soon. no war no bloodshed. i also want to change the part where the gods did not do there job as the GODS for example the part where Zeus pick a side. as we all know that they have to be wise and just. maybe if this part will be change the war will also stop. as i said no war no bloodshed.
While reading the book i had some realization. one of this is about having a broken family where it falls at the chapter about hector. it so hard to have a broken family specially when one of the members of the family died because of one's protection. i know it is hard that's why i don't want to see or hear about a broken family. its all about being together.

NEED HARDWORK ANG DETERMINATION
Destiny is something we can not control but some time destiny can be change because once HARD WORK and DETERMINATION. in the book many warrior shows this character trait. we know that the ILIAD is all about the the Trojan war and as we all know that if there is war there is the DETERMINATION to win.
In the book 12 i really like the determination of Glaucus because as Teucer trows arrow to him and hit him he did not stop in fighting but keeps on fighting until they all reach the camp of the Greeks. same goes for the Greeks. In the book 17 hector did not look like a coward because he know there are to many his team but he did not hesitate of stopping them because he has faith in them.
in the book mention, most of the time all of the character are determine to win but as we all know that in the war there is the winning side and the losing side, some time it is the destiny that judge that whether the Greek will win or the Trojans but as i said it in my introduction if you have the DETERMINATION to win nothing is impossible even you know that you are already losing.
What am i saying? in times of struggle don't give up because nothing is impossible when you have the skills of HARD WORK and DETERMINATION. it is okay to fall down but don't let failure stops you from standing up. i can relate myself in this lesson because every time my grade came out i am always scared and nervous i know that if my mom finds 1 line of seven in my card i am in big trouble but deep inside i know that i did my best to reach my moms expectation. every time the judgment day passes the DETERMINATION always return to me because i don't want to give my mom a big disappointment and to obtain that i will WORK HARD to achieve my goals.

wise/just or not
as we all know that the Greeks believes in GOD'S. They also believe that GOD'S are wise and just but i don't really agree on that because of what I have read on that book the ILIAD.
In the book, there are many scenes that made me decide that there are not wise and as we think but the scene that really caught my attention is about some of the GOD'S. one of this GOD'S Zeus, because he is not wise and just because they did shouldn't have choose sides, he is Zeus the king of GOD'S, he should be the one helping and solve the problems not make it bigger. as I know it being just is something about being fair to every body and wise is something judging people properly. As it define, Zeus shouldn't choose sides because as a king of all GOD'S. he has the responsibility of helping people make a good decision or have a better judgment. Another god is Hades his is not wise and just because he doesn't care anything except himself. his situation is simple, just choosing sides between being thoughtful and selfish but chooses the bad side being selfish.
In this topic it reminded me of one time where I was tested if i have the characteristic of being just and wise. it happen a very long time ago. the situation is about choosing sides between my beloved parent. ( sorry mam but its to hard to tell the story ). At the end I have chose the right decision and i am not regretting of my wise decision.
